It is about time to reconsider the scope and function of this site and the Yahoo Group that is associated with it. Shibari has become more accessable. There is a convention in Chicago called Shibaricon which brings together interested people from all over the globe. There are groups from coast to coast that get together to practice the art. And there are the individuals who learn what they can and practice as they find the opportunity. Many times this means that they do not have access to the resources necessary to make their Shibari safe and effective. It is the intent of the authors of ths site to increase the safety of WIITWD without taking away too much of the fun.
